Job Summary
A Foreman is in charge of work crews, maintaining the camaraderie, delegating responsibilities, mentoring young workers and ensuring the project is completed successfully.

He must be able to multitask, manage high stress situations and resolving issues efficiently. It is very important that he aware and conversant with safety regulations and always enforce them, to ensure the safety for workers and equipment.

He must also be able to manage the expenditure on the project.

A Foreman usually performs many of the following tasks:

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing site operations.
• Supervising subcontractors and other labour workers
• Maintaining health and safety records
• Managing plant and labour returns
• Ordering and following up on site material deliveries

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES’

• Minimum of OND in any building related course with at least 3 years active site experience.
• Ability to supervise and work with different teams.
• Ability to work at high standard.
• Be positive and details oriented.
• Good knowledge IT and communication.
• Ability to liaise with senior management and labourers
• Good knowledge of planning and building maintenance.
• Ability to manage stress and solve problems.
• Good understanding of blue-prints, sketches and drawings.
