Job Summary and Purpose

• This role focuses on minimizing exposure to potential risk and mitigating impact on business performance by establishing and implementing a robust risk management framework (policies, procedures and systems)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a robust risk management framework and action plans to minimize or eliminate identified or potential risk to the Groups business and, growth plans
• Conduct research to assess business risks and liaises with the heads of departments to identify potential risks to success, outlining findings and making recommendations on risk mitigating strategies
• Periodically review internal (infrastructure, personnel, processes, technology) and external (economic, natural, political, competition) factors in operating environment to ascertain potential risk to the Groups business operations and growth plans

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration or other related field.
• Certified Risk Analyst
• Relevant professional qualification e.g. ICAN, ACCA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Minimum of 12 years experience in Risk Management with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
