The Person:

• We are seeking a .NET developer responsible for building .NET applications using Microsoft Visual Basic.Net, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Web Matrix, Microsoft Expression Blend, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Microsoft SQL Server to build robust applications. The ideal person must have minimum of the 1 year working experience . He/She must be competent in using Microsoft’s technology to design, develop and implement these applications.  
• A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential
• Strong Proficiency in Programming with Microsoft Visual Basic would be added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Integrate data storage solutions both on premise and cloud based database such as Azure SQL.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of NET web framework
• Highly Proficient in Visual Basic.NET
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Experience in configuring and managing Internet Information Server (IIS)
• Skill for writing reusable libraries and APIs
• Proficiency in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
• Experience in Installing, Configuring and Managing Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
• MCSD Certification in application development would be added advantage
• Proficient knowledge of HTML editor Software such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Web Matrix, Microsoft Expression Blend.
