Job Summary: The Finance Executive provides support to the finance Manager and is expected to keep financial records and cultivate relationships with external regulatory bodies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Recording and posting of daily transactions
• Attend to bank related activities
• Bank reconciliation statements
• Maintaining fixed assets register (schedule)
• Assisting in the preparation of accounts
• Assisting in processing and paying invoices
• Recording receipts and payments
• Assisting in handling company expenses and payroll systems
• Assisting in completing & submitting TAX and VAT returns
• Petty Cash Management
• Attending to bank related matters and any other assignment given

Job Requirements- Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have the following:

• Minimum of B.Sc./HND in a related field
• Must be female and below 30 years
• Must have at least 5 years professional experience with at least 3 years in Auditing, Control & Compliance in any financial institution
• Experience in implementing policies and procedures, including process evaluation and documentation
• A demonstrated knowledge of finance, accounting and internal controls
• Strong communication skills – both oral and written
• Strong Proficiency in MS Office Applications
• Knowledge of Accounting softwares such as Peachtree is an added advantage
