• At the moment we're looking for a Director of Engineering to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at InterContinental Lagos.
• InterContinental Lagos is located in the heart of Lagos Island.  The 5 star Hotel has 323 rooms, high quality restaurants and bars, gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. • This role, reports directly to the General Manager at InterContinental Lagos. As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for directing the engineering/maintenance operations of the hotel to ensure the safety and comfort of the hotel guests and employees and to ensure compliance with all brand governmental regulatory requirements.
• Educate and train all team members in compliance with governmental and safety regulations. Ensure Staff is properly trained on quality and service standards.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must be an Expatriate with 5 star hotel engineering background
• Bachelor's Degree/Higher National Diploma in relevant disciplines
• Minimum of 15 years experience. 7 of which must be at Management level in hospitality industry.
• A good team leader and player
• Relevant professional certification is an added advantage
• Possess exceptional leadership quality
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must be able to multitask
• Ability to respond and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to display or demonstrate guest focused approach to maintenance management
