Senior .NET Developer at Wakanow

We are sourcing for a skilled Senior .NET Developer to assist us with our ongoing system revamp.  The role is highly technical and encompasses all of the requirements for developing, supporting and maintaining our internal and external applications within a fully agile team. Due to the nature of our industry and our current positioning, the amount of data processed is extremely high and as a result our systems have a complex back end and require individuals with a good eye for detail, proactive attitude and a solid commercial experience developing .NET applications.

Reporting To: Program Manager, Technology 

Skills (Must have):

• Strong knowledge in Microsoft.Net 4.0 or later
• Proficient in C# .Net, at least 3.0 (5.0 preferably)
• Proficient in ASP.Net 4.5 (Web Form/MVC 5.0 or later/Web API 2.0)
• Proficient in JavaScript, particularly JQuery and AngularJS
• Proficient in Entity Framework 6.0 or later
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later
• Very good knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS 3
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design (RESTful/SOAP)
• Knowledge of UML/Use Cases
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Understanding of Agile Scrum
• Understanding of Test Driven Development (NUnit/MSTest)
• Travel Domain Experience 

Skills (Nice to have):

• Professional Certifications (preferably in Microsoft Technology)
• Professional Membership of relevant professional organizations such as Association of Software Professionals

Desired years of experience: 8 -14 years

Educational qualification (Must have): Bachelors in Technology field

Educational qualification (Nice to have): Masters in Technology field
