Laboratory Technician I (Yam) at IITA - International Institute of Tropical Agriculture

Position/Responsibilities
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following:

• Assist in Yam in Vitro introduction via meristem culture;
• Assist in yam sample preparation for indexing and acclimatization;
• Assist in yam in vitro processing (multiplication, Conservation);
• Update yam database and handle yam request and distribution;
• Perform all other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification, Experience and Skills

• National Diploma (ND) in General Agriculture or equivalent with minimum of (2) years in related field.
