Job description

• Plan and organize production schedules.
• Assess resource requirements.
• Run production strictly following quality and hygiene standards.
• Oversee and optimize production process.
• Ensure the maximum output of production lines and efficient usage of raw/packaging materials and headcount.
• Organize production shifts and achieving maximum cost efficiency.
• Select best possible operators and supervisors in cooperation with Human Resources.
• Continuous drive for efficiency improvement through hands on management of production lines.
• Train production staff.
• Minimize scrap and wastages.
• Implement and maintain international standards (ISO, HACCP).
• Guarantee adequate production reporting on the company’s Nigeria Management.

Required Skills and Competencies

• In-depth knowledge in manufacturing and technical management with the required specialized skills and knowledge.
• In-depth experience in manufacturing and engineering sugar confectionery products and relevant processes not mandatory but preferred.
• Leadership and supervisory skills
• Good written/oral communications skills.
• Good Interpersonal skills.

Prerequisites (minimum requirement)

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng or B.E)) - Second Class Lower
