Our client, a European IOC with assets in Africa is seeking experienced Purchasing Officer to perform procurement activities; by receiving requests, talking to vendors, examining price suitability, comparing specifications and receiving alternative bids to fulfil affirmative action, value analysis and other objectives. Maintain records on vendor service levels, buying turns and evaluate vendor efficiency. Procurement of goods and services of the required quality at the lowest cost in accordance with the project requirements and within the scheduled limits.
 
Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelors Degree (preferably in Engineering or Business Management)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Procurement (Project procurement in an EPC/ Oil & Gas environment).
Proficient in MS Office / SAP
