MacTay Group is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a major telecommunications provider. Our client is looking to hire a Finacial Modelling Consultant on a contract of two (2) months.

Job Family:   Enterprise Business
Reporting To:   Manager ES Business Performance & Reporting
Duration: 2 months (maximum)

JOB PURPOSE
To set up automated processes and automated templates for analytics and reporting purpose in order to foster efficiency and effectiveness within the Business Performance team in the department
 
Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and build performance monitoring and business analysis excel solutions that will show what is being done right, what is being done wrong and what needs to be focused on:

a) Build a customized excel dashboard to track business key performance metrics
b) Build excel based applications that are easy to use and can interact with third party data sources like Oracle Databas
c) Build excel based data entry tool that does automatic analysis and reporting
d) Automate the KPI & Scorecard dashboards.
e) Train the team on getting the best out of excel and increasing productivity

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

a) An in-depth understanding of financial modelling and a working knowledge in analytics and reporting
b) Extensive experience in  building and designing financial modelling tools and ability to use a number of financial modelling software packages e.g. SAS, Predictive Modelling, Statistical Modelling
c) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
