• Tofollow-uptheConstructionandassociatedpre-commissioningactivitiesrelatedtoNigerianContent(NC) packages,upto endof Constructionandload-out/integrationworks. Ensurethatfabricationisin accordancewiththedesign.
• ·      Toensurethatallconstructionactivitiesrelatedtohisdisciplineareperformedsafelyandefficientlyin line withcompanyobjectives.
• ·      Tooverseetheactivitiesofallsiteteamswithinhisdisciplinetoensurethatalltechnical,contractualand costinformationis properlyrecorded,collatedandavailableforinspection/referenceasrequiredby companypolicy.
• ·      To identifydeficienciesanddevelopsolutionstoidentifiedconstructionproblemswithinhis  discipline.
• ·     Monitorallstructuralrelatedworksduringprefabricationanderection.
• ·     Ensurecontractorto followandcomplywithrequirementof CompanyspecificationGS STR.
• ·     ReviewsstructuralmaterialcertificatesarrivedatworkshoptogetherwithQA/QCsuperintendent.
• ·     Commentsonthecontractordocumentsrelatedtostructuralin duetime.
• ·      Reviewandcommentsitequeriesrelatedto structuralworksandco-ordinatetheresponsewithstructural engineerleader.
• ·      Closecommunicationandexchange/sharean information/constraintatyardwithstructuralengineerleader.
• ·      MonitorQCactivitieswithinhisdiscipline
• ·    Tomanageconstructioninterfaceswithinhisdisciplinewithothers(engineering,othersub-projects, commissioning)arbitratingbetweendifferentdisciplines,theonlycriterionbeingtheoverallgoodof the project.
• ·      Tomaintaingoodrelationshipswithcontractors,beingrelativelyflexible,proactivebutalsostrictwhen necessarytoachievetheobjectivesof theproject.
• ·     Toensurethatsafetyremainsthemainpriorityontheconstructionsiteatalltimes.
• ·     Attendthetoolboxmeetings.
• ·    Toensurethattheconstructionyardsareprovidedwithsuitableinformationin linewithrequirements (technical& schedule),troubleshootinganytechnicalproblemsthatcouldaffectconstruction/fabrication.
• ·     To identifycriticalactivitiesandpotentialbottlenecksfortheprogressoftheworks.
• ·      Toinformperiodicallyto ConstructionYardRepresentativeabouttheprogressactivitiesandareaof concern.
• ·     Toprepareorhelpto preparereportsforcompany,partners,andauthoritiesasrequired.
