    IT Project Manager

    Job Description
    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    •     Day-to-day running of multiple projects through the entire project life cycle, within budget and set time-scales
    •     Business analysis on projects, including gathering client and user requirements and defining functional requirements
    •     Ongoing support of solutions post-deployment
    •     Management of project teams
    •     Informing the Operations Director of future resource requirements
    •     Ability to manage project discovery phase, liaising with clients and users, facilitating workshops and documenting user requirements
    •     Ability to scope, plan and budget projects, incorporating crucial details such as risk management and return on investment
    •     Ability to give sufficient input into the technical analysis of the project
    •     Ability to work with Account Managers, keeping them informed of any problems
    •     Ability to supervise all those in the team, applying hands-on management when necessary
    •     Ability to foster a successful team-working environment whilst also helping to motivate individuals
    •     Ability to ensure that all projects are executed within budget, to time and to high standard

    CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
    Essential

    •     Graduate calibre, with at least two years experience in project management
    •     Current technical background, preferably web-related
    •     Good communicator, able to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry
    •     Accreditation in, or demonstrable understanding of, a recognized project management methodology such as MS Project
    •     Project management experience of .NET, web technology, content management, commerce and integration projects
    •     Understanding of web technologies, systems and architecture
    •     Experience of managing an IT team in a real time environment
    •     Demonstrable understanding of program management and willingness to develop into such a role

    Desirable

    MAIN TASKS :

    •     Ensure projects are run in a controlled manner following company guidelines and methodology
    •     Understand client requirements to ensure the correct deliverables are achieved
    •     Manage project communications to client and internal teams
    •     Ensure project-related client-facing strategy documents are produced
    •     Support client management on pre and post sale queries
    •     Maintain excellent levels of organization’s solutions and compliance knowledge
    •     Understand unique organization’s solutions’ attributes
    •     Appreciate the business benefits of our solutions
    •     Promote & Portray the organization as knowledgeable and ‘cutting edge’
