CONSTRUCTIONS COORDINATOR (Ref: 429) at Global Profilers

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure all personnel have a safe working environment and follow the agreed upon safety standards and procedures 
• Ensure all contractors are managing project work efficiently and with acceptable quality 
• Promote proactive recognition of good ideas, performance, and attitude 
• Attend or conduct daily safety tool box meetings 
• Participate in daily start of shift and work planning meetings 
• Report all safety incidents/near misses to the project Safety Lead and EPC contractor management 
• Conduct daily safety field observations and interventions 
• Attend project engineering status meetings, as requested 
• Participate in project constructability reviews 
• Review Construction Execution Plans 
• Receive and review construction estimates/schedules, as required
• Participate in construction kick-off meetings 
• Attend daily look ahead construction meetings 
• Attend weekly 3 week look ahead meetings
• Review EPC contractor project schedule work plans 
• Ensure that EPC contractors work planning is complete, mentor and coach as required 
• Perform weekly project field walks with the Construction Manager 
• Interface with operations (clearing of lines and equipment) so EPC contractors are not delayed 
• Issue work permits for offsite non process areas, as required 
• Interface with testing of soils for disposal, as required 
• Interface with delivery and pickup of trash, concrete, soil, and metal dumpsters, as required
• Schedule and coordinate road closures with plant superintendent and security, as required 
• Inspect and sign off hot tap equipment prior to drilling, as required 
• Participate in Pre Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs)

Qualification and Experience: 

• Must have 10 years field construction experience 
• Must have downstream experience. Good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
