    Senior Development and Production Geologist

    An opportunity exists for a Senior Level Development / Production Geologist to join a small independent e&p focused on assets in offshore Namibia / Nigeria.   
    This role is based New Jersey and is responsible for the company's geological activities, reporting directly to the senior management team.     

    Duties include but not limited to:  

    Subsurface Analysis and Static Model Building:  
    - Collect, Quality Control and analyse geologic and production data from existing wells.  
    - Integrate the well and production data, in conjunction with 3D seismic, into relevant stratigraphic zonations, within a reasonable structural framework.  
    - Populate zones with appropriate reservoir properties, reasonably distributed in areal (map) sense.  
    - Manage the building and editing of static reservoir models for input into reservoir simulation and development planning.  
    - Manage volumetric and reserve assessments.  
    - Build static modelling and reservoir characterisation analysis toward dynamic simulation.
    - Support Reservoir Engineering and Well Reservoir Management activities.  

    Development Planning:  

    - Work with Engineering and Drilling teams to design well trajectories using well planning software.  
    - Oversee the drafting of geological well prognoses and well applications for submission to regulatory bodies.
    - Manage the compilation and design of field development plans.   

    Near-Field Exploration:
     
    - Continuously evaluate potential value-adding opportunities in and around the development acreage. 

    This position will require:  

    • Strong technical skills and industry knowledge.  
    • 10 to 15 years of experience.  
    • Static modelling skill at mastery level.  
    • PETREL mastery skill level required.  
    • Volumetrics and reserve assurance knowledge is required.  
    • Seismic interpretation skill is critical.  
    • Multi-disciplinary communication and integration experience  
    • Petroleum Engineering integrated studies team experience is preferred.
    • Ability to adapt to fast pace working environment.
