Shift Quality Control Engineer at Dragnet Nigeria

Primary Job responsibility:
Work with production engineer to ensure that the Quality norms are followed

Job Description:

• Check the dimensions of Slit coils, tubes and purlins using micrometer and Vernier calipers and meter tapes
• Put on hold products which do not meet the specifications
• Audit measurement of weight of products for their conformance to standards
• Report results to the Quality in-charge for further actions like re work, reject
• Ensure that the correct tags are put on the products being manufactured
• Plan for the necessary tools and devices so that the above job can be performed satisfactorily
• Understand the tags put on the products like HR coils & CR coils.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Diploma / Engineer with a science back ground  who has worked in a metal forming industry like Tubes, Purlin, Cable tray for a minimum period of 2 years
• Must be able to understand the measuring instruments for errors, calibration, least count
• Hands on experience is essential
• Must be able to read quality standards

Place of Assignment: Agbara, Ogun State.
