Aviation Store Assistant at Aero Contractors

QUALIFICATIONS
OND in Engineering or Pure/Applied Sciences

JOB PURPOSE
Duties and responsibilities include among other things to assist in maintenance of the engineering stores and the spare parts kept in the stores.
Specific responsibilities include:

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

•     Receive and confirm certificates for all incoming parts.
•     Issue parts to aircraft with all documentations.
•     Control environmental conditions in the bonded stores
•     Issue, receive and controls all tools in the stores
•     Assist in inventory management of tools
•     Provide support all Aero internal and external customers in accordance with the company?s procedure
•     Any other assigned tasks

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

•     Knowledge of storekeeping and warehousing
•     Knowledge of a computerized store environment
•     Knowledge of dangerous goods
•     Knowledge of Technical tools, aircraft tools, aircraft parts etc
•     Knowledge of handling and tracking inventory
•     Knowledge of shipping and procurement
•     Knowledge of Microsoft office suite
•     Excellent written and oral communication skills
•     Numeracy skill

EXPERIENCE

•     Minimum of one (1) year cognate experience in the industry will be an advantage
