    Program Coordinator

    Program Coordinator Role at the Foundation for Cancer Care

    We are looking for a competent Program Coordinator at Foundation for Cancer Care, to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks. You will help in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties.

    Foundation for Cancer Care (F4C2) is a non-governmental organization focused on combating the dismal cancer statistics in Nigeria through cancer advocacy, the provision of free cancer screening and cancer awareness programs to targeted communities and the facilitation of training programs geared towards equipping health practitioners with the resources they would need to be integral members in the national cancer control plan.

    Overview

    • The Program Coordinator will manage project and office operations to ensure smooth running of all programmatic functions of the foundation.
    • The Program Coordinator will manage the administrative, financial budgeting, logistical and programmatic tasks.
    • This includes scheduling meetings, preparation or editing of program reports, proposals, pitch decks and power point presentations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • The Program Coordinator (PC) will lead on the design, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation of all Foundation for Cancer Care projects.
    • This includes assisting with development of work plans, liaising with members of the board, other partners, stakeholders and donors regarding implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs.
    • The PC will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual work plans.
    • S/he will work collaboratively with other project team members to ensure necessary project planning, resource availability and management activities function smoothly and efficiently
    • The PC will work with the accountant to arrange logistics for all Program activities and draft correspondence to partners, stakeholders, NGOs and other agencies as requested.
    • S/he will be responsible for drafting, editing and proofreading of technical materials and appropriate reports of program activities and results for technical leads and supervisors as requested.
    • S/he will manage all communications and media relations on behalf on the foundation.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Health or related field, or equivalent job experience
    • 2-3 years' of Previous experience working in an NGO program coordination or program management role.
    • A broad variety of programmatic, administrative and computer skills (including Word Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access).
    • Proven track record of working collaboratively with a project team.
    • Fluency in verbal, written and interpersonal communication in English.
    • Proficiency in writing and editing letters, reports, and documents.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to work on multiple tasks with excellent time-management skills.
    • Excellent presentation skills and verbal and written communications skills.
    • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and highly-organized.
    • Proficiency in word processing, Microsoft Office and data software.
