    Head of Communications

    Summary

    • The Head of Communications will be directly responsible for planning, developing and implementing branding and communications initiatives that will help the company achieve revenue targets, market share objectives and brand recognition.
    • S/He will manage all communications in the organization to ensure value is added to the company’s brand, chart a proper brand building, manage public relations initiatives and use new media to enriching public relations and perception.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Brand and Media Management:

    • Develop comprehensive and detailed communications and PR strategies for Brand /Product and execute them in a timely and effective manner (Internal and external).
    • Correspond with external stakeholders to keep them informed of company developments.
    • Communicate with the media and other interested parties to announce new products and discuss organizational changes in a way that attempts to maintain a positive image of the company.
    • Build relationships with local & international media on behalf of the company including both conventional (newspapers, radio, TV), digital and social media.
    • Develop and manage brand specific promotions based on needs to achieve specific market objectives such as acquiring new customers and stimulating usage among existing customers.
    • Represent the organization to stakeholders, interested parties, and the public.
    • Develop advertising and communication concepts in support of brand building initiatives that can be successfully executed in the market.
    • Responsible for building and sustaining the company's reputation for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
    • Serve as the company spokesperson to the media and the general public.
    • Monitoring media and consumer sentiment and follow up with necessary actions.
    • Crisis and issue management, including gathering facts, drafting /statements and announcement.
    • Prepare report for top management on regular basis.

    Digital Marketing:

    • Co-ordinate media campaigns, advertising and all kind of PR visibility on online, social media and other digital channels.
    • Oversee the company’s online brand marketing campaigns on all digital channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, email, mobile channels etc.
    • Review contents on web media and other mainstream multimedia marketing channels – New Media (Email, Digital - Blog, Social Media, etc.)
    • Oversee strategies to drive online traffic to the Bank’s digital channels
    • Oversee online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
    • Oversee the planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing

    Internal Communication:

    • Create strategies to increase employee awareness and promote productivity.
    • Ensure that employees are aware of changes and projects within the company. Distribute executive messages, prepare presentations and internal memos, and conduct meetings to share information.
    • Deliver regular comprehensive, clear and accurate information through existing channels to ensure staff are well informed
    • Help management communicate more effectively with staff by providing/creating communication templates.

    Education Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Corporate Communications and brand management
    • Degree qualification preferably in Media , Communications or related field
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Expert knowledge in the use of digital marketing techniques.
    • Tech savvy with keen interest in information technology trends.
