We’re looking for a Data Management Assistant who will specialize in DHIS2 development or someone willing to become one. Many of our projects include a DHIS2 instance running either in-house or by the customer. You’ll take part in the project analysis and requirement collection.

Your main role will be about project implementation in DHIS2 with specific tasks such as to:

• Configure DHIS2 Instances.
• Create forms, whether tracker or aggregate based (data sets) with proper rules and validation.
• Create dashboards and Maintain databases
• Once a project is set, you’ll prepare and conduct trainings for the users on the platform. This may require you to travel as most trainings are given on-site.
• You will also participate in the preparation and delivery of DHIS2 training courses. Although this is not a developer job, but a good understanding of data problems is important. 

Qualification:

• A Bachelors’ Degree is required. Preferably in computer science, engineering or information and statistics and other related fields.

What we look for:

• Experience with data warehouses architecture and problems would be much appreciated
• Experience with complex excel sheets (multi-level formulas, etc)
• Experience in using Microsoft office tools such as MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• We require at least one year of experience in supporting activities in analogous software, data, and statistics. 
• Experience with basic computer software and hardware maintenance would be an asset.
