Slickline Operations Supervisor at Willers Solutions

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide direction for the Slickline crew.
• Provides advice as it relates to servicing mechanical devices, building cable heads and tool maintenance.
• Performs necessary operational duties at the well-site and at the base including rigging up and down of Slickline equipment for job specific purposes.
• Develop hoisting skills in different situations such as phishing operation, BHP survey operations, testing operations, vertical tool make up and deviated wells.
• Maintains well-site records and communication as required by head of department.
• Carries out proper job related paper work and participates actively in quality improvements efforts with respect to Slickline operations.
• Promotes and maintains good customer relations.
• Follows safe work procedure, practices and instructions and performs the role of health and safety compliance officer within the team if designated.
• Provides needed inputs for the development and updating of equipment and logistic manuals.
• Carries out all required responsibilities safely as described in managing base operations, well operations.

Qualifications

• First degree in any Engineering discipline and professional certification required.
• Minimum of 15 years relevant work experience with 10 years spent in a managerial role.
• Management / supervisory skill set.
• Excellent technical and communication skills.
