    ICT Support Analyst

    Responsibilities

    • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
    • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks devices;
    • Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues;
    • Relate with vendors in ensuring physical compliance to SLAs and other standards;
    • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
    • Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
    • Supporting the roll-out of new applications;
    • Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
    • Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
    • Prioritizing and managing many open cases at a time;
    • Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with users and other ICT staff;
    • Testing and evaluating new technology;
    • Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment
    • Participates in development/review of department security processes/procedures under supervision of IT Operations Management.
    • Works with members of the ICT teams and other workgroups within on projects and initiatives as needed

    Person Specifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other numerical fields (Minimum of Second Class Lower)
    • 1-3 years prior experience supporting users in use of application software.
    • Proficiency in using support software tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows 8.1 and 10.
    • Microsoft Office and IT Networking proficiency.
    • Strong understanding of ICT security-related procedures.
