Head of School at EZ37 Solutions

Our client, a top Montessori Nursery and Primary School in Ibadan wishes to engage the services of an Head of School.

The Head of School will be responsible for:

• the day-to-day management of the School within the spirit of the school's Mission Statement;
• the development of the school’s curriculum.
• undertaking the professional appraisal of all teaching colleagues, following the laid down school-wide policy.
• supporting teaching colleagues in their different roles and undertaking disciplinary measures where appropriate;
• advising the Proprietor on School staffing, budgetary and facilities needs;
• recruiting teachers in close collaboration with the Proprietor.
• controlling and maximising the use of assigned staff, the allocated school budget, and the use of school facilities;
• development of and coordinating the school-wide schedule and the use of facilities;
• maintaining a friendly, open, supportive but firm relationship with parents and their representatives in the spirit of the school’s Mission Statement;
• providing a support programme for those students who have educational needs;
• meeting with the Proprietor on a regular basis - consulting on matters of curriculum design, the development of school-wide policy manuals, student welfare, teaching resources, the physical development of the campus, relationships with the local community, etc;
• meeting regularly with teaching staff and involving them directly in aspects of curriculum design, behavioural expectations for students, their daily routines and the school’s expectations of them, the timetable, and the future development of the school in its widest context;
• co-ordinate the activities of the teachers and non teaching staff

REQUIREMENT
Minimum 7 Years Related Experience, With 3 As Head Of School/Teacher B.Ed/B.Sc In A Related Course Working Knowledge Of The Montessori And National Curriculum
