Purchasing Officer at AACE Food Processing & Distribution Limited

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Buy products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations; inclusive of departmental re-usable, office supplies and technical equipment
• Review prices and quality, and ensure optimal stock levels
• Evaluate vendors, negotiate terms and prepare reports
• Create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses

REQUIREMENT

• Have a valid driver’s license
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Able to use Microsoft office suite (word, excel, ppt)
• Professional manner and strong ethical code
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
• Have an HND or BSc. Degree in any related field
• Possess minimum of 1 – 2 year experience in procurement
