Experienced Veterinary Doctor at HT-Limited

DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job include providing basic examinations, observing flock behaviour, giving vaccinations, conducting inspections, evaluating meat or eggs, taking samples for analysis, making nutritional recommendations, and devising flock health management procedures.

Treat sick birds but also inspect pens, advise on the overall health of the flock, and suggest changes to food and shelter that might facilitate increased egg production or increased fowl growth.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Degree in veterinary medicine
• 3-5 years cognate experience in poultry farming
• Be able to plan and administer necessary immunisation as required
• High proficiency in the use of Microsoft office
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High proficiency in written and oral English language
• Must have an eye for the smallest details
• Be a self starter
• Be able to manage as well as work in a team
