Roles & Responsibilities

• Create accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and possible site visits
• Seamlessly integrating and working with team mates, project manager and project engineers within the company, to produce and alter design drawings in electrical or mechanical formats
• Creation and rendering of detailed 3D models for management presentation and analysis
• Management and organization of all produced CAD drawings.
• Printing of CAD drawings in various formats and packages, and delivering them to the correct contact in a timely manner
• Thinking creatively and critically to support the project team in the design process, to create sketches and drawings that work
• Continually updating project drawings document register
• Printing various formats of drawing sets for project managers and site superintendents.
• Systematically saving sketches and drawings on web-based storage folders; keeping the folders organized; updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made
• Exhaustively reviewing and checking sketches and drawings for errors, before being sent to manager for review
• Seeking clarity and understanding from engineers and project managers when not 100% certain of something
• Organizing and uploading drawings to web-based storage to share with team members
• Create, edit, and update standard details for use in projects.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• 3-5 years’ experience with AutoCAD LT
• 2-3 years’ experience with 3D modelling software like AutoCAD Architecture or Revit.
• Normal working Proficiency with Word & Excel
• Ability to work with the team, follow instructions, learn and work hard
• Good English speaking / listening skills
