    Structural Specialist

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    • Review structural audit and appraisal documentation submitted by vendors for correctness and completeness.
    • Determine need for further analyses of towers through site visits and timely information sharing with relevant user department(s).
    • Maintain up-to-date project trackers.
    • Manage  the Retrofit Audit Tracker and share with accountable stakeholders across the Project Management Office (PMO) team.
    • Review tower post-retrofit audit documentation submitted by contracted tower retrofit auditor for completeness and correctness before forwarding for sign-off.
    • Apply available software to review vendor site audit/ structural appraisal reports.
    • Analyze physical and structural defects of towers based on site-visit reports submitted by user department(s).
    • Contribute towards the company's safety standards by ensuring towers are safe to use.
    • Conduct spot checks at sites where necessary to ensure that construction and correction of towers are progressing to plan.
    • Attend to all escalations on structural integrity as received from internal and external stakeholders.
    • Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for vendor reports on tower retrofit projects and forward validated BOMs for pricing.
    • Address vendors' issues or concerns related to tower maintenance and/ or overload.
    • Provide update reports to Infrastructure Manager on correction/ retrofitting works that are ongoing.
    • Attend meetings with vendors to provide answers or clarify issues related to planned projects.
    • Prepare and submit reports to Infrastructure Manager on all matters related to structural integrity.
    • Manage relationshikps with partners/ vendors.
    • Perform other dutuies as assigned by the Infrastructure Manager.

    Experience & Qualifications Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or related discipline.
    • +5 years’ relevant work experience.
    • Competent/ proficient in use of tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD, and MStower.
