Plan International Nigeria is implementing the Global Affairs Canada funded Bauchi Opportunities for Responsive Neonatal and maternal health (BORN) project with support from Plan International Canada. The project seeks to contribute to the reduction of maternal and child mortality in targeted regions broadly through: 1) Improved utilization of maternal, neonatal and family planning services by WRA, new-borns, and male community members. 2) Improved quality of maternal, neonatal and family planning services for WRA, newborns and male community members. 3) Improved quality of local health governance systems to ensure high quality, gender responsive and result oriented maternal and neonatal health (MNH) services.
As part of the processes for ensuring realization of the intermediate outcomes, the BORN project in partnership with the Ministry of health and other stakeholders, plans to develop IEC/BCC materials that will facilitate the delivery of key MNH/SRH targeted information along the continuum of care. To this end, Plan International Nigeria is recruiting for a consultant to facilitate a participatory IEC/BCC Material development process in Bauchi state.
