Job Summary

• The Accountant provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.

Responsibilities

• Gather & monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues & liabilities)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual statements (balance sheets and income)
• Forecast costs & revenues
• Manage tax payment
• Organize internal audits
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
• Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
• Analyze financial trends
• Ensure timely payments
• Reconcile accounts payable & receivable
• Prepare budget forecast
• Prepare & review payroll records
• Perform month-end & year-end close process

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & accounting software
• In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
• Solid knowledge on accounting regulations
• Excellent Maths skill with attention to detail
• Time management abilities
• Confidentiality
• BSc. Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• Additional certification (e.g. ICAN)
