    Health Systems Intern

    General requirement/experience:

    A young professional preferably below 35 years with minimal experience in Public Health and Development.

     Job description:

    • Provide both technical and administrative support to the HS unit’s initiatives including logistical support for meetings, workshop, trainings, facilitative supportive supervision etc.
    • Contribute to the production of training materials, power-point slides, HS instruments and data capturing tools.
    • Contribute to the development of strategies and projects to improve the Health systems (Providers, Government, stakeholders...) ability to provide quality  service to Women and Girls.
    • Prepare HS unit activities reports including specific reports for database
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by the unit head

    Qualifications

     Master’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Demography or related fields.

    Community Access Intern

    General requirement/experience:

    A young professional with a master’s degree in social sciences, preferably below 30 years with appreciable experience in program planning and budgeting.

    Job description:

    • Provide both technical and administrative support to Community Access unit, this include but not limited to providing, logistical support for internal and external activities and meetings.
    • Contribute to the adaption of training materials, IEC materials, and workshop presentation as well.
    • Contributes in tracking and analysis of community access results and summary for sharing across units.
    • Contribute to conducting peer review and compilation of success stories for proper documentation of activates.
    • Contribute to the development of strategies at the community level to support women’s ability to exercise their sexual and reproductive rights.
    • . Contribute in the review of CBOs technical and financial report
    • Collate and harmonize community access reports up load to database
    • Support in developing of program implementation plan including budget.
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by the unit head
    • Research and Evaluation Intern

    General requirements

    • A young professional preferably below 35 years with appreciable experience in research, monitoring and evaluation. Eligible applicants should:
    • Have obtained an MPH or MSc degree in Demography, Biostatistics, Epidemiology Public Health, Statistics, or related fields
    • Have completed NYSC service
    • Have experience in developing data collection tools, data collection and analysis
    • Have good knowledge of data management and statistical software such as Epi Data, CSPro, ODK, SPSS, Stata, etc.
    • Have and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Be committed to working full time
    • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, and Word) 

    Job Description

    • The Research and Evaluation (R&E) Intern will be expected to support the R&E unit in implementing all the research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities including data management, analysis and reporting carried out in the unit as assigned by the Unit head. Basically, the Intern will assist in the following:
    • Management and coordination of data entry consultants and data collectors
    • R&E Training and dissemination activities
    • Data management, audit, analysis and report writing
    • Implementation of research and evaluation activities
    • Desk/Literature review
    • Other duties as assigned by the Unit head.
