Senior Software Developer ( PHP) at HR Aid

As a Software Developer, you be be responsible for taking on complex assignments and developing consumer and enterprise wide, web (and mobile) applications

Job Description

• Work with a team of creative web and mobile application developers to build great
• software ensuring reusability, testability, security and performance
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and solutions
• Work with teams to decompose projects into specific tasks and provide high level design and support to help them understand how to solve specific coding challenges
• Develop applications from technical conception to documentation using conceptual
• diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups; maintaining detailed user interface specifications and building upon established style guides and UI patterns
• Develop new web pages, web and mobile based applications and reports as identified by clients and internal business partners using PHP (Laravel, Cake PHP), JAVA, JavaSpript
• Perform complete testing of Web applications–unit and system, engaging users as necessary
• When required, prepare presentations for prospective clients and or merchants
• Deliver excellent client service to all stakeholders.
• Develop innovative means of solving key technology problems
• Remain knowledgeable on digital technology trends

Person Specification

• Degree in related discipline, preferably - Computer Sciences
• Over 4 years’ hands-on experience 
• Experience in client facing situations or roles 
• Significant experience with programming languages PHP (Laravel, Cake PHP) JAVA, 
• Experience with mobile development processes for: iOS, Android would be an added advantage
