Job Description

• We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help us architect and build performant backend systems for our clients on a wide variety of applications.

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience in a Software Engineering (Backend) role and building large scale data platforms
• Strong experience in a programming language - preferably Python, Go Lang, Ruby or JavaScript
• Ability to drive design, requirements engineering, scrum execution, and technical discussions
• Experience in architecting platform capabilities keeping reusability, scalability, and adoption in mind
• Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming and microservices architecture with a deep understanding of big data and container virtualization technologies.
• Strong experience in middleware layer application development and troubleshooting with an understanding of application performance engineering
• Excellent appreciation of relational database design and development
• Broad expertise with data transmission/exchange standards like XML, JSON, X/HTML.
• Excellent understanding of cloud services (AWS/GCP)
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
• Strong understanding of key security concepts and patterns
