Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Work closely with fellow team members in the UK and Nigeria Centre team to ensure that social is effectively used in UK and Nigeria demand strategy.
• Work with the marketing team to ensure that the company is leveraging social media channels to improve the reach and effectiveness of their programs/activities in UK & Nigeria.
• Works closely with the Web and Search team to ensure SEO is incorporated into the overall UK and Nigerian social strategy
• Writes, edits, and manages editorial calendar for all types of content across social media platforms Tracks and reports on social media trends in UK and Nigeria to uncover opportunities and ensure that tactical use is optimised for each market. Monitors competitive actives in social media.
• Works closely with the European Search Specialist to maximize opportunities both paid and earned on social platforms.

Key Skills/Experience for Social Media Specialist

• Minimum 2 years of social media and marketing communications experience
• Experienced in B2C social media
• Experience collaborating with agencies essential
• Experience working and collaborating within a global enterprise is preferred
• Knowledge of marketing and communication principals, practices, and techniques
• Very strong writer and editor
