Full Stack Developer at Freeme Digital

Main Purpose Of Job

 Under the supervision of the General Manager and with operational reporting accountability to the Head of Business Affairs & Operations, you will primarily work as a Lead Developer and Technical Team Lead for FreeMe Digital Limited. As the Fullstack Developer, here’s what we expect you do

Front-End:

• Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• JavaScript frameworks like Jquery/Vue
• Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap

Back-End:

• API design and development
• RESTful Services
• Server-side languages like PHP/Laravel
• Database technologies like MySQL
• Knowledge of Git Web server technologies like Node.js, Apache etc.
• Knowledge of Content Management system is a plus – WordPress.

Main responsibilities including but not limited to

• Work with other developers, creative team, designers, copywriters and research team
• Write super clean and efficient codes
• Converting UI designs to code
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
• Write web application code following best practices
• Deliver code in an agile team environment.
• Assist with application deployments in our Cloud environment.
• Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software

Knowledge/ Education

•  Have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university.
• Experience working alongside creative & marketing teams.

Skills/Experience

• Have at least 2 years of experience working as a full stack developer.
•  Is proficient in following stacks: HTML/CSS, Javascript/JQuery/Vue PHP/Laravel, Mysql
• Active in the Nigeria technology ecosystem, have good, well established and relevant industry relationships

Personality/Character

• Have a vibrant personality and exceptional communication skills (English, verbal and written).
• Highly organised with ability to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Have the ability to build rapport and communicate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Must have a passion for media, music and entertainment and how technology can be leveraged to add value to these industries
