    Pre-Sales Lead (IT Solutions)

    Position Overview:

    The Pre-Sales Lead (PSL) supports sales productivity and deal flow securing the “technical close" in complex solutions. The PSL collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources tensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. The PSL is responsible for achieving a profit and productivity quota made up of the combined expectations of the sales resources, market, and or channel supported.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Establish and Execute Solution Architecting/Presales Technical proposal management policies and guidelines tdrive IS BU Solutions Architecting / Presales delivery - with clear cut methodologies and standard harmonized templates/formats
    • Establish and Execute Solution architecture /AS Sold debrief procedures and guidelines tensure a seamless handover tprofessional services team for IS BU Solution implementation and projects delivery – with clear cut methodologies
    • Establish and Execute Bid preparation & fulfillment policies and guidelines tdrive IS & other BUs - Bids, Tenders, Pre-Qualifications, RFIs, RFQs and RFPs preparations. The primary objective being tstrictly meet required responsiveness, quality submission and timelines/deadlines.
    • Partners with Account management team, Solution Presales team, Professional Services team, Shared Services and stakeholders (both internal & external) for timely, quality, responsiveness and fulfillment of customers RFIs, RFPs and ITBs delivery.
    • Prioritize and manage Solution Architecting & Presales activities and ensure consistency with corporate strategies
    • Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if and when it becomes necessary in partnership with HR and Executive management.
    • Displays a high level of effort and commitment tperforming work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
    • Proactively scopes the technical solution required taddress customer requirements, assesses customers' met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the organisation.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities tappropriate personnel, Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the entire IS Architecting / presales team and Identify and manage critical service dependencies and critical path with proactive contingency plan
    • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise IS solution mgrs., Bid administrator and other team members within their teams and influence them ttake positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
    • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital tthe success of the overall IS BU Solution Architecture & Presales delivery.
    • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported.
    • Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms. PS Certification on the required Technologies; Solutions Architectures - Complete minimum 1 Product certifications per Month and report tExecutive Director.
    • Become visible tcustomer and partner communities for escalation of issues and creating the organisation’s brand image and build relationships at the higher management levels tsell the organisation capability.
