The data analyst volunteer will support the SHIFT Digital team in areas of data collection, evaluation, research, narrative reports and recommendations
Job Responsibilities
Assist in Collecting, interpreting, and summarizing data in preparation for analysis.
Maintains appropriate records of data.
Identify requirements and provide specialized reports and analysis.
Identify and resolve data quality issues using appropriate analysis techniques.
Assist in Data validation and verification.
Build and maintain relationships with key contacts.
Job Requirements
Ability to design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data.
Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports.
Records maintenance skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
Ability to prepare research reports and proposals.
Ability to utilize statistical computer software.
Proven ability to work well within a team environment without the need for close supervision.

Skills:
A numeric background with knowledge of analytical techniques.
Records maintenance skills.
A high level of creativity, drive, innovation and initiative – a self-starter.
Experience in using analytical and reporting tools including Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with SAS,SPSS or any other tools (Added advantage).
