We are seeking an innovative and driven business development manager to join our growing team.
Build client engagements by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business deals.
Conduct research to identify new markets and strategies to address the needs of targeted prospective clients (Federal and state governments, public and private companies and individuals).
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and present proposals for IT projects.
Develop and test unique marketing and advertising strategies for the IT industry.
Promote the company’s products and services.
Ensure customer satisfaction by implementing a user-friendly feedback system.
Brainstorm with management and the software development team to identify IT solutions and services that would appeal to new clients.
Keep records of contacts/leads and revenue.
Develop trainees into valuable salespeople.
Stay up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing, and promotions.
Attend networking events.
Job Requirements
Proven working experience and track record as a business development Specialist in an IT company or a similar role.
Great networking skills.
Goal-oriented, organized team player with good negotiation skills.
Possession of analytical and mathematical skills.
Ability to prepare sales budgets and forecasts.
Ability to analyze data and sales statistics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Comfortable in both leadership and team-player roles.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).
Preferred Candidate:
Career Level: middle level.
B.Sc/BA in Business Administration, marketing or related field. MBA is a plus.
3+ years’ experience as a business development Specialist.
