Role Summary/Purpose:
The role of Commercial operations analyst requires to have experience in the administration side of commercial operations. Focussing on order pricing through to execution and delivery. This role demands high level of attention to detail, ability to work with several cross regional and funciton teams. The individual has to be very adept at multitasking , working under some pressure to deliver desired value to the customer whilst ensuring the revenue targets are met in a compliant manner.
Essential Responsibilities: The Commercial Analyst is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
· Work with the Region Sales / commerical team, support proposal generation (low to medium complex projects) across the Core with the intent of developing winning strategies to leverage successful deal closures.
Follow through from PO received, execution and delivery to the customer
· Support the regional Sales team before / during customer meetings / negotiations
· Identify and refine the proposal processes across the Core business, with special emphasis on Lean opportunities for improvement and waste reduction
Raise sales orders
Hold meetings to track orders and report out to customers
· Ensure process adherence to all government-contracting requirements with support from GE legal resources
· Develop timely, accurate, and well-structured sales proposals and update reports on orders placed
Hold biweekly update meetings with all customers
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sales / Commercial Operations or a support function)
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Desired Characteristics: · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering · Prior commercial experience is preferre · Ability to manage low / medium complex deals · Ability to develop and execute priorities and plans for self and others · Strong business acumen · Strong oral and written communication skills · Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
