Chief Electrician - Jackup at Benedetto

Our client is a drilling contractor focused on jack-up rigs in Nigeria, Middle East and other international locations.

We are recruiting for a local Chief Electrician to work in Nigeria as a contractor or a permanent staff.

Area of operations: West Africa
Employment type: Contract or Permanent

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Electrical Engineering degree or High school diploma. Work experience and demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.
• Knowledge of all technical calculations required for electrical operation of the drilling unit and basic computer skills.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment onboard the rig.
