Mechanical Completion Manager at Prime Services

Prime Responsibilities

• Understand and be able to interpret contracts and reviews contractual documentation.
• Review and contribute to the Detailed Design contractor’s production of the mechanical deliverables.
• Conduct project team member briefing sessions with respect to engineering requirements and processes
• Review and provide discipline input to the Mechanical aspect of the Mechanical engineering aspect of the System Completion Tool
• Modelling completion performance, then monitoring the actual result
• Prepare and submit engineering progress data, including narratives, charts, graphs, etc. on mechanical engineering issues to the Engineering project manager as required
• Provide mechanical engineering input for Risk Management activities, as appropriate, Hazard and Operability (HAZOPS) reviews
• Review Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs) for safe and operable features
• Provide commissioning guidance and advice to the Detailed Design contractor’s engineering and design organization

Qualifications

• B.Eng in any Engineering or Technical discipline. Master qualification, Professional certification/membership of COREN will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• 7 - 10 years or more experience in field construction and shop fabrication for major Projects in the oil, gas, and/or petrochemical industries.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in offshore construction work such as installation of platform facilities, hook-up and commissioning and pipeline construction and commissioning.
