Job opening Base Coordinator in an Oil Exploration & Production Company Location - Delta/Offshore

Job Description:

• Utilize effective Knowledge of drilling/completion operations regarding drilling activities as it relates to procurement, contractors and vendors
• Possesses strong business process skills with the ability to optimize business functions through focused improvement initiatives.  
• Deliver robust cost management and mitigate business risk via rigorous procurement of goods and services
• Carry out safety audit on a monthly basis over all the operations
• Keep a register of staff attendance and submit same on a weekly basis to the management
• Review and update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations or laws. Commercially aware in advance & negotiating skills
• Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback,
•  Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
• Procures materials and spares parts, needed for operation and maintenance of the FPSO and other facilities.

Base Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Engineering Substantial experience in the offshore oil and gas support/logistics environment
• Good knowledge of International Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
• Good people management skills
• Minimum of Seven (7) years’ experience.
