Job Summary

• To help increase sales by creating an aesthetic pleasing shopping environment through the display/placement of merchandise and proper monitoring of the merchandisers.

Job Roles

• Responsible for creating attractive point-of-sale displays.
• Must be able to personally create, manage stock or restock the display.
• Trains, supervise and Oversee merchandisers responsible for its (store) structural integrity, visual upkeep and timely restocking.
• Comparing sales data for products and make recommendations to management regarding possible solutions if sales are low.
• Timely merchandising of seasonal goods and their removal after prime selling periods expire.
• Keeping track of inventory and submitting order requests, evaluate financial documents, reports and initiate all sales decision.
• Analyze store observation programs and validate various store process.
• Monitor all placements for store section and allocate resources appropriately.
• Monitor all ad sign board for department and ensure cleanliness.

Requirements

• A B.Sc/ HND graduate in any discipline
• Prior experience in merchandising management is highly important.
• Good knowledge of Key account sales & marketing
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suites.
