Production Accountant at RS Hunter Limited

Our Client

Our Client, a renowned multinational firm within the FMCG industry wishes to engage the services of a Production Accountant whose duties shall include ensuring all production is  correctly accounted for, stock in shop floor are correctly reflected in books, timely & accurate accounting and posting of Production Finished Good, planning  & receipt  of Production MRS into Navision, validation of  FGTN and PCR reconciliation, proper verification and reconciliation of  stocks at shop floor.

Top Accountabilities:

• Ensure materials posting on system are done online real time per shift from warehouse.         
• All material received from warehouse follow due protocol of requisitions and transfer; Confirm System Transfer Number on every MRS.
• Verify the physical stock transfer to shop floor and ensure it is correct.
• Ensure returned raw and packing materials are batched and posted into the system on a daily basis.
• Perform  production planning, costing and transfer of finished goods to the warehouse.
• Participate in weekly stocktaking, reconcile counted figure and make a report
• Perform system MRS for material requisition and send for approval.
• Participate stocktaking exercise on a monthly basis and annually to identify discrepancy and resolve any issue discover in the process.
• Monitor items in-transit, query any reason behind this and inform the responsible officers of the need to receive such items in to the location to avert delay.
• Data collection from production's AFM and Efficiency books for counter reading/FGTN reconciliation report.
• Evaluate the quantum of items in the location and report on it.
• Perform  production planning and posting reprocessing note.
• Consistent check of the quantity in the bill of material for correctness and thereby guard against huge variation in usage.

Requirements

Qualifications / Skills 

• HND/BSc Accounting.
• 2 - 5 years experience within the FMCG industry & Supply Chain Finance.
• Experience using ERP and data mining/base tools (e.g. SAP/BW or other) along with intermediate Excel spreadsheet skills.
