    Site Manager (Swamp)

    Scope of Work

    • He or she will oversee operations on a day-to-day basis and ensure that work is done safely, on time, within the budget and to the right quality standards.
    • As a site manager, you could be responsible for a whole site or, with larger schemes, you may be responsible for part of a project and report to a more senior manager. He or she will also ensure that work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation as well as other legal requirements.


    Job Description

    • Plan and coordinate the setup of temporary swamp site offices and accommodation
    • Determining and coordinating labour, materials and equipment required for completion of all construction activities.
    • Develop work packages aimed at zero re-work and exceptional quality.
    • Track and measure crew productivity to meet guidelines.
    • Ensure all activities related to staff welfare and security around house boats, barges, speed boats etc. are adequately catered for and monitored
    • Oversee swamp sites’ operations on a day-to-day basis to ensure work is done safely, on time, within budget and to the right quality standards.

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications & Competencies:

    • Minimum of a second class lower bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline
    • Age: 30 – 45 Years

    Requisite Skills:

    • Minimum of 10 or more years experience in construction within the Oil & Gas industry and 5 years in supervisory position
    • Must be able to interpret engineering drawings; P&IDs, Layouts, Isometrics, General Arrangement etc.
    • Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Proficiency in MS office
