So ready for today’s challenge?
 
Do you know how the best companies have grown in such a short time? I am talking about companies such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, USA military and a host of others?
 
Well, it is because they understand the importance of getting things done faster rather than waiting for it to be perfect. It is using the lean mindset and it is a scientific approach to growing and scaling very fast. Let’s assume you have an idea that you think will work very well and probably have a huge impact on say revenue. One way you could go about it is actually by planning and perfecting your idea before execution.
 
A much better way is to create a mini version of your idea, test it against your hypothesis and when you are sure it is going to work, and then you can build the full version of your idea. The advantage of doing this is simply that it helps you prevent waste in terms of resource. That way if your idea is going to fail, you can quickly kill it or pivot before it takes up too many resources and eventually still ends in failure.
 
While there is nothing wrong in perfecting a task, project or idea, sometimes it is good to just ship first and perfect later.
