Job Description
- Work with the safety team towards ensuring a better understanding of the inherent risks associated with projects and controls put in place to reduce risks.
- Carry out periodic audits to ensure compliance with approved standards, work procedures and guidelines
- Dissemination of HSE issues to the entire work force
- Hold HSE Meeting, tool box talks, pep talks on a regular basis.
- Plan and carry out Emergency drills to sharpen employee awareness on ERP procedures in case we are faced with a live situation.
- In compliance with applicable environmental legislation, ensure that wastes are properly managed to approve standards.
- Participate actively in in-house HSE training for employees to improve their on the job awareness and competency.
- Carry out pre mob inspection of all equipment before mobilising to site to ensure that they are in good condition and can deliver the job.
Required Skills and Qualification
- Minimum of National Diploma (ND) in Engineering or Sciences with at least 2 years cogent experience.
- NISP Level iii Certification.

- Conducts inspections to determine the need for repair and to estimate repair costs. Schedules preventive maintenance for all safety equipment and systems. Maintains logs of pending and completed maintenance activities. Prepares progress, status, and other reports.
- Performs limited administrative functions such as evaluating subordinate personnel work performances and reports.
