    Construction Site Lead

    • Lead Site Safety

    Quality Manager

    Other Relevant Information

    • Provides direct and specific design engineering support in the Structural Engineering area to assigned project teams within the Nigerian Project Organization.
    • Performs the assigned technical tasks in a format agreed upon between the Project Manager (PM) and the Design Engineering Services Manager (DESM). Ensures that the tasks can be completed within the framework of EMCAPs and within an agreed timeframe.
    • Identifies, defines, and performs the assigned tasks, including finalizing pre-requisite tasks or information. Updates and reports the progress of deliverables to the PM and DESM on a regular basis.
    • Coordinates / oversees design contractor activities in the process discipline area for assigned projects.
    • Continually assesses refinements/changes and recommends updates for the maintenance of specifications and standards used in the Projects Department including the Global Practices (GP), Design Management Manual (DMM) and the Design Execution References (DER).
    • Responsible for coordinating reviews, endorsement and final approval for changes to these specifications and guidelines using Projects' MoC procedures.
    • Ensures that all relevant aspects of the quality assurance and control (QA/QC) programs and procedures are strictly followed in the performance of all work. Ensures the integration of the requirements of the Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) in all work, tasks or deliverables.
    • Follows and implements the established project objectives and strategies in all work. This includes maintaining MPN production at established levels as well as providing safe, economic, and efficient proposals to enhance hydrocarbon recovery or to increase associated facility integrity.
    • Performs ad hoc medium and long term technical design engineering studies aimed at improving project engineering effectiveness, including risk, constructability, design and execution assessments

    Project Management Advisor

    Main Functions

    • The Senior Project Management Advisor will typically be involved in the execution planning of one or more major capital projects (>500 M$) during Select and Define Stages and may support and monitor several such projects in the Execution phase post Gate 3.
    • The role requires a seasoned and experienced project professional who can mentor and train less experienced personnel assigned to the Project Execution function and to specific projects.
    • During the Execution phase, the Advisor will work with project teams to support and validate the use of best practices in project management execution.
    • The Advisor will ensure the project team obtains the services needed to achieve overall project objectives and strategies and efficiently executes the project in accordance with expectations.
    • The Advisor may also be involved in the execution of general interest activities that may have broad application across all projects (enhancements, staffing studies, IPR Process and Plans, maintenance of selected work process, special studies, etc.).

    Responsibilities

    • During the early stages of a project (Planning for Development, Select and Define Stages), the Advisor will be involved in the development and coordination of project execution plans, bringing in related expertise in other areas of project management such as SSHE, regulatory, quality, construction and cost and schedule development as required.
    • The Advisor will be involved in the development and coordination of the overall Project Plan with responsibilities for Project Objectives and Strategies, Project Characterization, Roadmap, Organization planning, Key Issues, Interface Management, Lessons Learned, and Management of Change elements as well as business risk analysis and input to concept selection and cost/schedule estimates.
    • The Advisor will also lead Front End Execution Planning workshops and associated work programs leading up to Gate 2.
    • During the execution phase, the Advisor will support the Project Manager in the implementation of project execution plans as required.
    • The Advisor may also have responsibilities in the execution of general interest activities (enhancements, staffing studies, IPR Process and Plans, maintenance of selected work process, special studies, etc.) and is expected to become a subject matter expert in one or more elements of EMCAPS.

    Job Requirement

    • 20+ years’ experience in major capital projects for the oil and gas industry
    • At least 10 years’ experience on international projects, with at least two overseas assignments
    • Experience in execution of a major capital project, in a management level capacity on the Project Management Team, is preferred
    • The candidate must have leadership and personnel management skills, and strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders including operations, co-ventures and host government representatives. The candidate must be an effective teacher and mentor, able to share knowledge and experience
    • Expert proficiency in most Project Management skills (e.g. execution planning, contracting/procurement, cost estimating, project controls, planning & scheduling, organization design, etc. )

    System Completion Planner

    • The Systems Completion Planner focuses on developing and updating commissioning and start-up planning deliverables for Company in order for the project team to test Contractor performance in these areas.

    • Report Turnover progress to the Commissioning and Start-up Leads. Sets up, manages and reports Turnover metrics such as Check Sheet progress, Plan, Actual and outstanding punch list items, etc.
    • Tracks and assists expediting late material and equipment deliveries also monitors their effect on handover plans. Flags punch items requiring material/equipment
    • Monitor Contractor’s Preservation performance and maintenance activities by subsystem
    • Develop and maintain a planning tool for Company’s daily witnessing activities and ensure assignment of Company’s personnel to each activity.
    • Support development of detailed Start-up Schedule and update throughout the start-up phase at a daily activity level.
    • Support Start-up team develop daily reports including activities completed, planned as well as metrics on operations such as consumables and capacity levels.
    • Apply company's learned; Participate in company's learned reviews and provide input to close-out report section upon completion of Turnover.

    Job Requirements

    • Years of closely related professional experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within an applicable discipline, appropriate certification(s) within discipline, or equivalent professional experience
    • Demonstrated leadership skills through previous supervisory position, team leader position, engineering lead position or other leadership positions
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely convey recommendations to management
    • Good facilitator with the ability to build consensus in areas of contention while enhancing working relationships; must have a high level of assertiveness to ensure commissioning status, issues and concerns are effectively communicated laterally and vertically in the organization

    Construction Site Manager
