    Credit Operations Analyst

    Details:

    As Credit Operations Analyst you will be responsible for the credit analysis, credit assessment, and performance reporting of credit sales across the Group operations. You will also be responsible for the engagement of credit bureau and also collaborate with the strategic business unit on debt recovery issues and the ageing analysis of debt owed the business.

    Responsibilities:
    Credit Analysis:

    • Analysis of credit sales and support in the approval process of credit to clients
    • Routine engagement of credit bureaus and other agencies supporting the credit approval process 
    • Analyse customer focused and firm-wide credit risk, while quantifying credit risk and also making recommendation for credit risk management 
    • Support the negotiation of credit documentation with clients
    • Provide support in the development of a credit performance reporting tool that feeds into the cash forecasting model, for ease of Liquidity management.
    • Proactive analysis of the credit market and provide advisory support to the business on how to drive credit sale

    Credit Operations

    • Provide support in setting credit limits and also ensuring the enforcement of those credit limits across the Group operations.
    • Provide support in the development of a robust credit assessment tool and an approval process for ease of credit management.
    • Provide support in the development of a debt write-off process as a part of credit performance reporting. 
    • Provide support in the development of a mechanism bad debt transfer obligations and/or bad debt recovery.
    • Provide support in the development of a collaborative debt recovery process with the relevant strategic business unit and the legal department.

    Experience and Professional Qualifications:

    • First degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or any other business-related subject from a reputable university 
    • Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CFA, CIMA etc.)
    • Minimum of 7 years related work experience 
    • Experience in a multinational firm is an added advantage 
    • Experience in a Group Treasury function is an added advantage.

    Banking Relations and Liquidity Manager

    Details:

    You will be responsible for directly managing Group-wide banking relationships, Bank accounts architecture and in ensuring that there is adequate liquidity to meet the day to day obligations of the Group. Where appropriate, ensure that the excess cash of the Group is optimally invested in financial instruments according to the SLY principle of cash management.
    Responsibility:
    Liquidity and Cash Management

    • Foreign exchange sourcing 
    • Closure of hedge contracts from financial institutions and other counterparties 
    • Development and enforcement of a Banking Services Level Agreement
    • Monthly validation of Bank Charges, Interest charges etc.
    • Development of a tactical plan for cash management 
    • Petty cash management 
    • Responsible for the daily preparation of a multi-currency cash position and cash forecast
    • Development and implementation of a cash provisioning process
    • Automation of cash collection processes and review of settlement risk that may exist
    • Automation of liquidity planning and petty cash management processes
    • Ensure immediate cash and liquidity visibility of Group-wide operations 

    Banking Relationship Management

    • Development of an optimal Bank accounts architecture
    • Responsible for Bank accounts opening and closure; interbank and intrabank transfers, cash pooling etc.
    • Management of Banking Relationships
    • Engagement of Switching companies and other online payment platform partners 
    • Development, enforcement and negotiation of the Price Book
    • Provide Banking advisory to other business units across the Group operations.
    • Provide supervisory support to the Treasury analysts
    • Provide advisory support to the Head, Treasury from time to time.Experience and Professional Qualifications

    Experience and Professional Qualification:

    • First degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or any other business-related subject from a reputable university 
    • Master degree in Accounting/Finance or preferably an MBA from a reputable university
    • Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CFA, CIMA etc.)
    • Minimum of 10 years related work experience 
    • Experience in a multinational firm
    • At least 3 years in a supervisory/management capacity

    Corporate Finance Analyst

    Details:

    You will play a key role in providing cash forecast and have responsibility for financial data analysis towards debt and equity funding for the business, gather data for due diligence analysis, Conduct routine macroeconomic research and analysis for senior management; while also responsible for the administration of loans and shareholders distribution. The role holder will also support mergers and acquisition, investor relations and the submissions of representations based on the terms of agreements with lenders and or bond holders.
    Responsibilities:
    Financial analysis:

    • Proactively determine exchange rate for transaction processing for the business based on product and currency type.
    • Develop a free cash flow forecasting model, feeding from the business plan/budget of the Company.
    • Proactively identify the cash deficit/cash surplus of the Company over a medium term.
    • Provide support in the sourcing of multiple funding instruments (debt, equity, etc.) from multiple funding partners for the funding of the business plan.
    • Provide support by way of financial analysis and in reaching financial close in the various funding projects/] of the Company.
    • Provide support in the optimisation of the finance expense of the business, such that the incidences of a debt overhang or unproductive interest are minimised.
    • Conduct periodic global and pan-African macroeconomic analysis and research to support the decision making of senior management
    • Maintain data repository for investor relations activities, while providing market insight to senior management in the engagement of investors.

    Reporting and Data Administration:

    • Provide data and due diligence support in obtaining a favourable credit rating from credit rating agencies as necessary.
    • To compute at intervals the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) of the business and suggest to senior management the ways to optimise the WACC.
    • Maintain robust loan records and adequate loan administration for the payment of interest, principal and fees related to the debt obligation of the Company.
    • Maintain adequate data and record on shareholding structure, shareholding activities and take responsibility for shareholders distribution and related entries into the shareholders' account
    • Conduct valuation analysis, gather due diligence data and provide support in publishing Information Memorandum toward successfully executing funding projects, acquisitions, mergers, credit rating, and public listing as may be necessary
    • Support the business in capital budgeting decisions in order to prioritise projects with a higher possibility of superior accretions to enterprise value, while ensuring to ration capital appropriately.
