    Financial Controller

    JOB PURPOSE
    Responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures.
    • Coordinate all audit activity.
    • Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership abreast of financial status;
    • Assist leadership in the annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.
    • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
    • Support the Accountant in engaging the board’s audit and finance committees around issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery.
    • Oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting; ensure that expenditures are consistently aligned with grant and program budgets throughout the grant/fund period; collate financial reporting materials for government, corporate, and foundation grants;
    • Manage organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the program vice presidents; continuously collaborate with program vice presidents to assess the financial efficacy of program operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support program operations.
    • Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.

    QUALIFICATION

    • A degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant field
    • Chartered Accountant or equivalent
    • Minimum 4 years of demonstrated work experience in finance and business management
    • A demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively (oral and written), establish trust quickly, and create win-win situations.
    • MBA (Added advantage)
    • Experience in working in multiple organizations with emphasis on communicating and decision making with demonstrated ability to work under pressure
    • Experience with business processes and systems should include systems development, planning, forecasting, order processing, invoicing, credit, collection, sales credit tracking and filing for tax.
    • Experience in the design, implementation and monitoring of internal controls and compliance.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and internal control principles.
    • Knowledge of statutory provisions.
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
    • Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software
    • Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers

    System Integrator

    JOB PURPOSE
    Responsible for planning and implementation of system monitoring, maintenance and support of all networked software and operating systems.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Gather and analyze data to determine system requirements
    • Develop work plans and estimates as they relate to systems integration work tasks and team members
    • Research, evaluate, and recommend systems, equipment and technologies based on client needs
    • Draft technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, and other systems integration related documents
    • Liaise with various team members such as management, administration, legal, and support staff on a regular basis
    • Develop and conduct testing plans and procedures based upon system recommendations
    • Provide client with post-installation and integration support
    • Optimize maintenance and deployments to ensure integrated functioning.
    • Integrate diverse systems, networks, and servers to achieve overall aims.
    • Troubleshoot and debug system issues to increase performance and quality of data.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication
    • Phone and  Customer Service skills,
    • Problem solving skills.
    • Ability to accurately review and complete detail oriented information and projects.
    • Ability to conceptualize and organize project planning process.

    QUALIFICATION

    • University degree in Computer science, Engineering or related courses
    • 2 years’ experience working on system integration
    • Knowledge of Windows, XP, Vista and general desktop support issues
    • Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP and other networking concepts
    • CCNA/CCNP/ITIL. Entry level must have
