    Engineering Lead

    Description

    • Play a leading and collaborative role within Project development, reporting to, and working closely with (particularly) the Project Manager.
    • Establish and lead the Engineering function supporting the Project
    • Be Technical Advisor, as relates to job holders core discipline, supporting Company's Corporate Engineering whenever resident in Lagos Office and so requested.
    • Support other members of Project management team
    • Interface with DPR and other Government officials on engineering matters

    Lead Piping Engineer

    Job Description

    • Be focal point/technical authority for piping and layout matters throughout all phases of engineering design, construction, installation and commissioning
    • Provide piping engineering input to other disciplines to assure design outputs are consistent
    • Be Project authority for review of design drawings, specifications, etc.
    • Where required, act as Company representative (piping) to ensure design work by contractors meets Project standard and relevant industry codes
    • Monitor performance of design contractors and suggest remedial actions related to piping design.
    • Assist Company resident and/or project engineers with the piping engineering aspects of Facilities design.
    • Assist construction and commissioning teams with field questions encountered during installation
    • Initiate and coordinate tasks needed for project execution
    • Participate in HAZOP’s and other key design reviews.
    • Assist in development of Nigerian piping engineers

    Qualifications

    • University Engineering Degree (Mechanical) preferred but experience is more important in this role so a lesser education standard can be accepted
    • Minimum twenty (20) years relevant experience with oil industry design and fabrication contractor
    • Must have worked in as piping engineer/senior piping engineer for an Operator and have been involved in both onshore and offshore projects
    • Must be used to working in a multi-discipline environment
    • Must have worked in an expatriate situation for at least five (5) years.

    Lead QA/QC Engineer

    Description

    • Promote adherence to assurance processes within project teams
    • Ensure Non-conformances are reported, addressed and closed out
    • Complete assigned internal audits
    • Adherence to the processes and systems present within the Company's Business Management System
    • QA / QC Focal point for Projects
    • Lead Auditor for Supplier and Subcontractor Site visit requirements
    • Raise non-conformances and Process Improvement notices
    • Assist departments in identifying corrective and preventative actions when looking at continual improvements.

    • Lead and guide inspection services in line with Project / Contract requirements.
    • Develop Audit schedules in conjunction with PM and Quality personnel.

    • Quality Management Knowledge with a minimum of 10 years in lead Quality Assurance positions
    • Engineering qualification and background.

    Lead Civil/Structural Engineer

    Job Description

    • Overall responsibility in planning and timely delivery of Project Civil/Structural Engineering
    • Provide Site development and civil infrastructure to support Project development in a timely manner
    • Check and confirm access for heavy loads and equipment to Project Site
    • Plan and schedule routine and periodic visits and maintenance to field roads and bridges.
    • Develop and monitor project budget and schedule
    • Develop and oversee implementation of project execution plans
    • Co-ordinate work to be undertaken by the Contractor
    • Deliver reports, data and information concerning project progress within agreed time frame and frequency.
    • Ensure that all HSE issues have been addressed and systems are in place to manage same

    Document Control specialist

    Job Description

    • Monitor quality of documents.
    • Manage document processing.
    • Producing document listings.
    • Set up and manage project filing systems in all project locations including working at Project Sites.
    • Team up with other documentation groups for controlled information exchanges.
    • Maintain files and control logs as required by the project.
    • Maintain the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing document flow

    Main Job Functions

    • Coordinate all activities related to Document Control processes including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
    • Input document data into standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
    • Generate various document control reports as required.
    • Be on Site to manage project documentation, type Site documents, follow up with Site needs.
    • Ensure controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are provided to appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.
    • Maintain updated records of approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly.
    • Maintain documents and drawings under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.

    Qualifications

    • Degree or a Higher National Diploma in relevant subject such as B.SC English, Sciences or Humanities.
    • A business qualifications such as MBA, CMS, and DMS is an advantage.
    • Extensive knowledge in MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
    • Minimum 5 years related work experience in DCC with knowledge of Engineering disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.
    • Must have work as DCC at a construction Site.

    Lead Cost Engineer

    Job Description

    • Develop and maintain project cost estimate
    • Prepare man hour and cost reports compared with agreed budget and in line with Cost Breakdown Structure.
    • Update man hours and costs expended on periodic basis
    • Update Planned, Committed and Expended values for purchases, sub-contracts and construction activities.
    • Utilizing progress data and in discussion with the Project Management Team, prepare forecast of man hours and cost to complete engineering, procurement, fabrication, sub-contracts and construction works for the project.
    • Review changes in the weekly forecast and variance against current budget to identify trends or variations.
    • Take the lead preparing PVN's and Change Orders as required
    • Update trend register on a weekly basis.
    • Undertake reconciliations between cost report and invoice figures
    • Prepare invoicing summary and back up on a monthly basis.
    • Undertake adhoc reviews and analysis as directed by Project Controls Management

    Engineer Operation Readiness & Assurance Engineer

    Description

    • Develop Company’s Production Operations Maintenance & Integrity Policy/Strategy/Integrity Envelope documents to provide clear outline of how Operational Integrity will be managed
    • Develop Lifecycle O&M/ Integrity policy and procedure for Project Plant and equipment.
    • Responsibility point for commissioning and readiness.
    • Provide Operational Interface for Process /Operations / Engineering/Maintenance & Integrity-CMMS/O&M development issues.
    • Develop Management of Change, Deviations, Over-ride Risk Register for the Project.
    • Make periodic Fit-for-Service OR&A Integrity reviews on the developing Project facility to verify statements of readiness, KPIs, anomaly action tracker & status of as built documentation
    • Review Lessons Learned, manage and report to Project Leads
    • Make technical contribution to development of Project standards and guidance
    • Provide expert advice on Performance Assurance Standards
    • Instigate and manage Plant Facilities Lifecycle continuous improvement to embed good practice into activities of the Production Team. These would include but not be limited to engaging work force to take ownership of & apply:
      • Operational Procedures,
      • Safe Work Practices, Emergency Management,
      • Incident Investigation,
      • Process Safety Isolations,
      • Competency & Training, MoC/Deviations,
      • Management of Over-rides and Operations Interface Communications
    • Be O+M Project focal point to participate in development of HSE Safety Cases & reviews of Operations Lifecycle Safety Case alignment with APC AIMS Policy.
    • Coach & mentor Nationals to adopt and embed sound O+M integrity in their normal work practice
    • Contribute to the development of a robust safety critical information management in support of the Production Operations accurate, ‘as built’ documentation P&ID’s, PFD’s, C&E Loss Control; Isometrics; Plot Plans, SCE, “Ex” Certified Electrical Equipment SIL Registers etc

    Qualifications

    • Degree in an Engineering Discipline or Equivalent
    • Minimum of 20 years in the Oil and Gas industry with pertinent experience on Operations, Commissioning and ideally some Maintenance background
