Ire Clay Products Ltd was established in 2008 to take over the moribund asset of Ondo Stale Brick works Limited which was
established in 1981. The factory which has been shut down since 1998 is being rehabilitated by Ekiti State Government and
Odu'a Investment Company Ltd. The rehabilitation exercise which began in 2009 has reached an advance stage.
The factory will be commissioned in the last week of December 2012 and is expected to resume Commercial operation in
Ire Clay Products LId is designed to produce 20 million Bricks per annum of different sizes of red burnt brick ranges from
fencing Bricks. sum Breakers, Load Bearing wall facing lintel and decking materials. The company therefore is looking for
competent young and qualified personnel to fill the following vacancies.
Task: Daily management of the plant, He understand the basics of brick making (process organization, inputs, production cost. details and profitability of a plant.
QUALIFICATIONS: First degree in Civil Mechanical Engineering. Building Technology. or Architecture. A member of
Nigerian Institute of Architect/COREN with minimum of 10 years post qualification experience.
Full control of production
Selection and training of all machine operators and foreman
First Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology with at least 5 years post qualification experience in Burnt Brick making Company. Membership of relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
Profile: Civil engineer
Better with some experience in the industry
Ready to work in the field
Very good technical knowiedge or understanding of Burnt Brick work factory
Organized and responsible person, autonomous.
Chief Kiln Operator:
OND / NCE in any field with at least 3 years post qualification in similar position.
Task: In charge of the products firing
Selection. training and control of all other kiln operators
Products pilling in kiln cars
QUALIFICATION: OND in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience in Manufacturing Construction Industry.
Task: Organization and ¢oing oi all mechanical repair/maintenance
Profile: Mechanical studies
At least a few years experience in mechanic. in a workshop of company where he has been used to make quality work.
Report to the GM. this role is responsible for planning. directing and controlling the day to day financial reporting and
financial management of the business, (1) To facilitate the strategic and operational decision making, (2) To ensure
compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
First degree from a reputable university. Master degree will be an added advantage.
Professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA).
Minimum of ten (10) years experience in manufacturing and or Construction industry, with at least five years accounting
and finance experience at management level.
Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting standards and regulatory requirements applicable in the manufacturing sector with working knowledge of IFRS.
Reporting to the Chief Accountant, this role is (1) responsible for performing general accounting and financial reporting
functions, (2) management accounting and taxation matters.
First degree in accounting from a reputable university. Master degree will be an advantage
Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA).
Minimum of six (6) years progressive experience in accounting and budget administration in manufacturing and / or
Knowledge and practical experience of IFRS wiil be an added advantage.
Account Officers / Trainees
BSc / HND in Accounting / Finance can apply for this position.
The Auditors shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with established accounting procedure and internat controls across all operations, safeguarding assets and resources of the company, and ensuring efficiency in operations.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
First degree in Accounting or a related field from a reputation institution.
Minimum of five (5) years experience in Internal Audit or Accounting firm of a reputable organization.
Professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA).
Knowledge and practical experience of IFRS will he an added advantage.
1. Stock Yard Officers
B.SC/HND in Management Sciences. sciences, Marketing or related field. 3 yrs experience in logistics management.
Proficiency in MS-Word, Excel and Power point.
2. Warehouse personnel/Supervisors
BSC / HND in Management Sciences, Sciences. Marketing or related field.
2 yrs experience in logistic management preferably in construction industry.
Proficiency in Ms-Word, Excel and Power point.
QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Electrical / Electronic.
Task: Repair and maintenance of all electrical equipment
Graduates in sciences.
4 years experience in manufacturing facility.
i) Mixer Machine Operator
ii) Box Feeder Machine Operator
iii) Machine Operator
iv) Wet Production Operator
v) Gathering Frame Operator
vi) Finger Car Operator
Minimum of SSCE/GCE or equivalent, 5 years experience in construction/manufacturing
i) Engineering Technician (Mechanical and Electrical)
Minimum of SSCE/GCE or equivalent city & Guilds Certificates. 5yrs experience.
ii) General Technician
iii) Dryer Technician
5 yrs experience in industrial, Generating Sets, Air condition installation and maintenance.
Good knowledge of HVAC systems. City & Guild, and Trade Certificate.
ELECTRICAL/lNSTRUMENTATION CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
Key objectives: To monitor, analyse and manage progress of all Electrical / Instrumentation activities associated with the
development of an oil and gas industry project facility.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:
A COREN registrable first degree in Electrical/Instrumentation design, project management & construction Industry.
MATERIAL SITE MANAGER
Key objectives:To provide material management technical expertise to the material control and management teams to ensure that materials are effectively managed form point of receipt to point of issue in line with statutory provisions.
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:
HND or University graduate preferably in a Mining / Geology discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience of which at
least 2 years are in the management of high volume, high value engineering related inventory.
Manager. Sales Marketing
Reporting to the GM/CEO, the ideal candidate will have primary responsibility for the Company's sales and marketing
activities, including product innovation, marketing and customer retention. Inherent in this is the development and
implementation of sales and marketing strategies with a view to increasing the Company's market share and profitability.
Key responsibilities will be to:
Supervise the formulation and implementation of the Company's overall Sales and marketing strategies
Manage and deepen customer relationship with existing and prospective customers in order to increase profitability, growth, increase in market share, and customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Coordinate the development of innovative product and service categories, as well as identify new markets, in order to maximise sales and markeling opportunities.
A good first degree or its equivalent from a reputable institution. Possession of higher degree(s) in Marketing or Business
Administration or other relevant professional qualification(s) will be an advantage.
A minimum of fifteen (10) years' relevant work experience, including at least five (5) years' in a senior management position.
Demonstrable experience in marketing, channel development management, pricing and profitability and strategic planning.
Proven business development skills and strong entrepreneurial outlook.
Strong customer service orientation and knack for breaking new grounds.
Excellent leadership, negotiating, relationship-building, team-working, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.
The job functionally reports to the Head of Human Resources to the General Manager.
He/She Provides HR leadership including contributing to business plans while working other management staff in implementing the HR strategy, policies and processes.
